Purchase Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing various production and office materials on the global market
• Placing and tracking purchase orders for spare parts, materials, and tools
• Monitoring the entire supply process to ensure smooth operations
• Coordinating with suppliers and addressing delays, defects, and incorrect shipments
• Collaborating with the production team to ensure seamless workflow integration
• Optimizing procurement costs while maintaining high-quality standards
• Identifying and negotiating with new and existing suppliers for better deals
• Providing technical expertise related to assigned materials
• Driving process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics (preferred)
• Experience in procurement, supply chain management, and supplier negotiations. Previous experience in a production company is required
• Languages: Very good command of English; Turkish is an advantage
• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP, ERP, or other procurement systems
• Other: Active driver with valid documents
