Our client is looking for a motivated and technically oriented Precision Metrology Technician to join their Quality team.
The role requires a technical background in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, solid experience with measurement technologies, and a strong interest in precision manufacturing and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Programming, setup, and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for inspection of precision-machined components
- Performing measurements and quality inspections according to technical documentation
- Working with measurement tools and quality control equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
- Calibrating equipment and ensuring product compliance with required specifications
- Maintaining accurate inspection records and preparing related documentation
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues
Requirements
- Completed engineering education (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Mandatory experience with DEA PC-DMIS (programming and operation)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with and programming CMM equipment
- Experience with manual measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) and knowledge of machining processes (turning, milling)
